With great sadness we have to inform you that Prof. dr Zoran Roganovic has passed away.
Colonel Prof. Zoran Roganović, M.D., Ph.D was Acting head of the Surgerical Clinics Group at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade, Secretary of Serbian Neurosurgical Society and Member of Peripheral Nerve Surgery Committee of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies – WFNS.
During his clinical practice he treated all neurosurgical diseases and injuries of intracranial space, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. He was an author and co-author in more than 150 professional and scientific papers in the field of peripheral nerves surgery, cerebrovascular surgery and brain tumors. He was also an author of several chapters in many books and he gave a great number of invited lectures at world’s centers.
Prof. dr Zoran Roganovic was an exceptional neurosurgeon, superb teacher, educator and role model for young neurosurgeons. He spent his entire life on education and he donated his lifetime work to the benefit of the new generations of neurosurgeons. He was devoted husband and father and a great man and friend.
